Warriors Bandwagon fans 

The Golden State Warriors are a NBA basketball team located in Oakland, California. About 5 years the Warriors were an unknown basketball team who struggled making playoff appearances in the NBA. When Warriors player Steph Curry became the league MVP this caused many people to all of a sudden become Warriors fans hence bandwagon fans. This relates to the Social Identity Theory because people within the Oakland are would identify as a Warriors fan ever since the Warriors became successful. People felt the need to identify themselves as Warriors fans because there team was successful. This also relates to the Romance theory of leadership because the whole objective of The Warriors rebuilding their team was so they could attract more fans which is part of there overall project.
